I'd forgotten what my tattoo really looked like, when I came across this, hunting for something else entirely. My own design originally with a very personal meaning (one of my biggest pet hates is people who have tattoos cause they think its trendy, and then have the stupidest little things put on their body, like flowers, or chinese symbols, when they probably know nothing else of chinese culture or language), it took 5 solid hours to tattoo on my back (without fainting or yelping, or crying, infact, the only time I had to stop was because my legs had gone to sleep. I was rather chuffed with myself, though you can see where my muscles wouldn't stop twitching, because his face is a bit wonky). You can also see my other tattoo just peeking in from the right. The plan is to have another on my left shoulder, then to link all three with some kind of background design which will leak onto the top of my arm. Just call me the tattooed lady from here on in. *grins* I'm a sucker for pain.
Ohhhh - it is a very beautiful design, and when you have the others done it'll be quite fantastic-looking - though I'd never have the stomach to do it myself. X3
...I've been working on a set of /wings/ for myself for years. I keep changing it, but one day I will have my wings...one day. They will be mine. Any and all tattooes I ever get will be mine...but unfortunately I havn't any yet uu'

Thanks! I've been playin about on photoshop, seeing what it would look like with various designs. I've settled on a devil for the other shoulder, then I'm kind of half tempted to just go to my usual tattooist and say.. "here, blank canvas, fill in the gaps..."
thank you... I utterly believe tattooing is an art form, not just a fashion accessory, and that you should treat it as such. Every bit of my tattoos means something deeply personal to me.
Oooh, that's a great tattoo. Lovely design, and definitely something good to have on your body for the rest of your life. Ugh...and I know how that muscle twitching thing is >_< My arm would NOT stop twitching when I got mine.
Thanks! I'd change it quite a bit now, but it really means something deeply personal to me, so it doesn't bother me too much. And man... five hours non stop and my back was just a big sore twitchy mess... poor tattooist guy was being really gentle with me too... but I made it without moaning or fainting or complaining.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
