A commission, which is the reason the watermark is over the image.
This is Calarissa, also known as The White Mother, along with her construct companion, Aubin, the wolf. This was one of the nicest commissions I've had to work on in a while, and the commissionee was kind enough to let me display the finished article online. Calarissa was described to me as being a pale skinned, drow elf with long, flowing white hair, tall, but not fragile, with a gentle and caring personality, whose wolf companion was always there to protect her, so I've tried to reflect those things in the pose. Done in Prismacolour pencils, on letterhead-sized green card. Took approximately 15 - 20 hours. Calarissa is © to Jess Art © to Sam Hogg, 2005.
