I think this piece pretty much speaks for itself. If you've ever looked at my art and thought you'll never be that good, take a look at the 2000 images. Then go practice and study till your eyes drop out of your head.
Passion and practice. That's all it takes. Janny Wurts once told a group I was part of that if you claim you haven't the time to practice, all it means is you've assigned your priorities somewhere else. That something else is more important to you. Art has been my top priority since about 2004. I think thats when the leap in quality makes itself known.
Edit.. blar.. that last section the website should be conceptart.org not .com... too tired to change it though.
You really are so extremely talented, it's awesome to be able to see your work and get inspired by it.
I agree to that practice and passion notion. It's all you really need to improve. Looking at my own first dabbles at art I usually cringe, but now I enjoy what I see in terms of paintings and drawings. Personally I'm more of a painter than a drawing person (just too bad canvas is expensive and takes up so much room ^__^).
Good luck and much progress in the future.

Thank you for this! I am 47 years old and have always wanted to draw. The closest that I've come to was painting T-shirts for my kids of their favorite band logos because I could not afford the originals. I have been on here for 4 years watching the artists grow and have now decided to see if I can get some of my own passion on paper. Seeing your growth here is very encouraging.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
