As it's now officially December, I figured I'd upload this.

A commissioned piece for the charity I do a great deal of work for as a designer, The Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God. I've done a lot of art for these guys, and they're an international charity that doesn't get as much attention as it should, as they help the kind of people that society forget because they're not children, animals or the politically correct cause du jour (not saying those guys shouldn't get attention). You can find out more about them here: [link]. This was for their christmas card. They showed me some styles they liked and I came up with something similar.

If anyone is interested in having this made available as a card or post card, please comment here and I shall seek permission. If I do sell any, all profits would obviously go to SJoG themselves.

Watercolour on illustration board, with the halos and star dropped in in photoshop. The finished cards actually had a slightly different star and were foiled in silver. Critique discouraged as it's a commission and the client was very happy with it.

Please excuse the watermark and smaller image size, but as a professional commission, I felt it necessary.
