Say what you will about this man in his current situation, innocent or guilty is for the courts to decide... but he is a musical and performing genius. I have been a fan since I was nine years old, when my whole junior class was into Michael Jackson. At first I discovered his music, then as I grew older, I began to appreciate the complicated and brilliant mind that lay behind it. At the age of 18, I had his initials tattooed on me. I think he is a beautiful person, not taking the accusations levelled against him right now, both inside and out... seeing his face makes me smile. There is something in that wonderful unbridled smile he has, which is sadly rarely seen now, that lights up my soul, and I could lose myself forever in his eyes.

There used to be a time I could draw his face quite accurately without any pictorial reference, and I hadn't indulged myself in any decent pencil work for so long, I decided to hark back to my younger days. Its not perfect, the planes of his face are off somewhere, but it made me smile to draw this, and thats all that matters.
