A stopgap gallery filler a) cause it's ages since I uploaded anything b) I like how this came out and c) cause I was going to colour and post, but i doubt I'll have time for a while.

Here we have role play pirate characters belonging to myself and =ladydove7 On the left is Eidean, my fairskinned doll of a captain of the ship Khima, who comes across all cute and girlish but drinks and swears like the old sea dogs she grew up around and sleeps with anything she deems pretty. She's also a dab hand with her twin flintlocks, and if that fails, she's a water avatar, and can control the swell of the ocean to her liking.

And on the right Ang's scallywag Callum, Eidean's second in command. He's a pirate through and through, though likes to think of himself as the gentleman of the high seas. He has the devil's luck with games of chance, frequently robbing people blind under the guise of betting and has a roving eye for the ladies as much as his captain does for the men.

The two of them have a deep trust of one another, and may even harbour feelings for one another, but would be the last people on earth to admit it. Much more likely they'd clash flagons of ale, get blind drunk and start a fight then sleep it off with whatever totty happens to be lying around.

Oh the fun abounds. There's also a gryphon as their ship's guardian, who is Eidean's pet, who shall later be added. Think dock mongrel with beak and wings and a penchant for fishheads and you'll be close to the mark.
