A Christmas present for my sister, whose name is Beth, the temptation to call this Beth and Death almost overcame me. But she'd probably kick my butt for that. Besides which, I rather like Death Becomes Her. So the gorgeous being you see in this picture is.... the Grim Reaper... *giggles* sorry sis.... Nah, that's my too-pretty-by-far sister pulling off her Botticelli's venus pose, a picture I swore I would make good use of, and so I have. And just for those of you who think I've lost the plot shoving the Grim Reaper behind my sister, she actually has a 'thing' for him, so she liked it. Kinda like putting Satan with a gun behind me. Yummy. I'm really really happy with this picture, probably my best to date with coloured pencil, if only for the fact it does look like my sister. There are a couple of things I might change given the chance, but I don't feel they detract from the picture *gaspcoughshock*. Now then, if only ol' Grimmy and Lucifer would happen along looking for a couple of willing dates.... ________ Karisma pencils on grey card, © Zephyri, 2004. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art.
